Bobbie Black Martin

Bobbie Jean Martin was born to the late Robert Allen Black and Ruth Ladell Ferguson. She is survived by her spouse Andrew Michael Martin Jr; Her daughter Angela Blankenship; Her son, Andrew Michael Martin III, and her Grandson D.J. Blankenship. She is also survived by her sister Cynthia Ann Black, and her youngest brother Robert Allen Black Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her oldest brother Michael Lee Black, and her sister Patty Sue Collins.

Bobbie will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Bobbie was a beautiful wife. She was a planner, go getter and also a hard working lady. Bobbie was married to Andrew for over 50 years. She loved to go to the casino and play the slot machines. She was a beautician for more than 40 years, while working full time she went back to school and earned her GED. She also supported Andrew while he attended college.

A visitation for Bobbie will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home, her funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM concluding with a committal service in the roselawn memorial gardens after.
