Beatrice Louise (Rhodes) Arnold of Seagoville, Texas went home to the Lord on November 12, 2016. She was born in Ola, Texas on February 13, 1931 to Major Thomas Rhodes and Lillie Mae (Owens) Rhodes. She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents Benjamin Franklin & Carrie Dorcas Rhodes and Willie Albert & Ellie Emma Owens; her loving husband of 56 years LeRoy Galey Arnold; brother Major W. Rhodes Jr.; sister Carrie Emma Rogers. Left with cherished memories is her son Randy LeRoy Arnold & wife Eva; daughter Sheila Suzanne Baker and husband Marshall (Marty); daughter Pamela Dawn Russell & husband William; grandchildren Abrea Dawn Wooten & husband Mark; Atira Eve Arnold; Marshall (Marty) Earl Baker Jr. & wife Melissa; Andon LeRoy Richard Arnold & wife Charlotte and Chad Allen Baker & wife Micah; great grandchildren Dylan Curtis Massey; Breanna Cheyenne Massey; Dawson Cole Baker; Marlee Grace Baker and Zoey Denise Arnold, numerous nieces, nephews and other family loved ones and beloved friends. Beatrice loved Jesus. She was a member of Seagoville Church of Christ for over 60 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family very much and cherished every moment spent with them. She also enjoyed embroidering. She made items for every child and grandchild. She liked to garden and show her family the joys of gardening. She will be remembered for her blackberries that she shared with her family and friends. Her labor of love was feeding her family and friends. She enjoyed family gatherings and would cook more than needed so everyone could take leftovers home with them, as well as everyone’s favorite dessert so each got what they wanted. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Tuesday November 15, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 10:30am Wednesday November 16, 2016 at Seagoville Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, Texas where Beatrice will be laid to rest with her loving husband in the Court of Valley View. Bill Burk officiating.
