Barbara Jean Bryant

A graveside service for Barbara will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens

Barbara was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 5th, 1945 to parents, Mary Collins and Wilburn Derr. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, and attended Riley High School. She married the love of her life, Hayden Bryant, at the age of 15. Together they had 4 sons, Hayden, Dennis, Darin, and Dustin. They built a beautiful life together.

Barbara spent her time working alongside her husband at their privately owned trucking company, 'Hayden Bryant Trucking'. Barbara enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with family. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Barbara is preceded in death by her mother, Mary; husband, Hayden Bryant; son, Dennis Bryant; granddaughter, Katie; nephew, Jerry; daughter-in-law, Jamie; and brothers, Doyle and James.

She is survived by her sons, Hayden and his wife Becky, Darin, Dustin and his wife Liz; her sister, Mary Laverne, and daughter-in-law Renee, along with numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, great-great grandkids, and new great great-grandbaby.

Through our grief, we celebrate her legacy and lasting memories. Barbara 'Grandma' will be greatly missed and remain forever in our hearts.
