Shirley Hartley Alcorn of Scottsdale, AZ slipped quietly away surrounded by her family on June 15th. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Lorne Hartley and Pauline Melcher Hartley.
She was married to Richard Eugene Alcorn originally from Waterford, PA. Shirley was a graduate of Arizona State University and went on to teach in the Phoenix Elementary School System for many years.
Shirley was preceded in death by a sister Georgina Phillips and a brother John Hartley. She is survived by her husband, Richard and 3 sons Richard (Elaina), William (Donna) and John all of Scottsdale. She is further survived by 3 sisters Jaunita Schwartz of Santa Fe NM, Jean Cifelli of New Port Richey FL and Sandra Greggs of Erie, and 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
