Sharon Ann Ast

She was born on September 8th in the year 1939 in Phoenix, Arizona. She grew up in phoenix where she met her husband Skip Ast Sr. They married in 1957 in Las Vegas Nevada. Early on in their marriage, they both accepted Jesus Christ as their personal lord and saviors and made a life of commitment to his service. Ministries such as “Tea and Comfort” for the assistance of young women in need and helping others was her passion.

In the early years, she was instrumental in assisting her husband Skip develop Shasta Pools and Spas. The company soon became a great success and part of her pride and joy.

Known best for enjoying her children and grandchildren, she was instrumental in making great memories in their lives. Whether it was spending time with them fishing, celebrating holidays or entertaining them with her animals, she was a wonderful part of their childhood. So many fond memories are woven through the people touched.

She is survived by her husband Skip, her children Diana, Skip Jr., Steve and Jeff and 12 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren

Services will be held at North Phoenix Baptist Church at 5757 N. Central Ave, Phoenix with the following schedule:

Reception immediately following at 1:00 to 4:00 at 907 W. Orangewood in Phoenix.
