Staff Sargent Ralph Fredrick Davidson, loving husband of nearly 61 years of the late Janett Phyllis Davidson, went to be with his Lord on November 27, 2019. A veteran of World War II, he also responded to the call of his country in 1961-1962 during the Berlin Crisis.
He was 91 years old, born in Toledo, Ohio, on January 1, 1928 to the late Lee Edward Davidson and to the late Ruby Grace Kretzer.
Ralph was passionate for the Great Pyrenees dog breed. He and his late wife Janett bred and showed championship dogs for 30 years. He celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, or special occasions of those he loved with a personalized card he made and sent under the name of jandpyr press. Ralph’s strength of character based on his Christian beliefs and values and love for his country will always be remembered and missed.
Loving father of Robbin (Dennis) Chapman, Bradly (Paula) Davidson, Larry (Kim) Davidson and Cindi (Seth) Masters; proud grandfather of thirteen and great-grandfather of fifteen. He is proceeded in death by his grandson, Timothy.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, Scottsdale, Arizona until time of the graveside memorial service at 12:00 Noon.
