He was born in West Virginia on May 2, 1940 and later graduated from Fairborn High School in Fairborn, Ohio. Jack married Janice Rogers on November 23, 1961. He worked for over 45 years in service/sales for Empire Machinery Co. of Mesa, Arizona, retiring in 2010. Jack had a passion for archery hunting, fishing, and camping.
Jack is survived by Janice, along with his children Jack Jr. (Debbie), Jill, and Jim (Carrie) Rogers; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson; siblings Richard Rogers, Susan Byers, and Gary Rogers. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Eugene and Vivian Rogers, and 2 granddaughters.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held in the patio area of Macayo's Mexican Restaurant at 1920 S. Dobson Road, Mesa, AZ 85202 on Saturday, March 19 from 5:00 to 8:30 PM. Services will also be held privately at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery in Scottsdale.
