He was born February 10, 1984, in Phoenix, AZ and graduated from PV High School in 2002. Doug spent his senior of high school in Germany as part of a foreign exchange program, and was proud to deliver a speech to the German Parliament. Doug’s endless love for learning led him to attain a bachelor’s degree from ASU, a master’s degree from U.C. Berkeley, and a second master’s degree from NAU. After graduating, Doug pursued a career in education and helped to enrich the lives of many of his students.
His interests included spending time with his children, continuing education, travel, shooting, politics, and commitment to his Catholic faith. Doug devoted much of his time and energy to helping others, mostly through education. He will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor.
Doug is survived by his wife, Greta; children, Miles and Berkeley; mother, Robin; father, Greg; stepmother, Diane; and brother, Justin. Doug’s memory will live on in all who knew and loved h
