Choi Mee Yu

Choi Mee was born on May 27, 1925 in China. On March 8, 1947, Choi Mee married the love of her life, Raymond S. K. Yu in China. She helped raised 5 children in China and Hong Kong. In 1975, she immigrated to the United States in Scottsdale Arizona and lived in Arizona until 2004.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Yu and son Edgar Yu, and is survived by her children, Edgar Yu's wife Irene in Tempe Az., Maria Wong and her husband, Hilton in Oakland Ca., Victoria Chan and her husband, Peter in Richmond Ca., Joe Yu and his wife, Teresa in Chandler Az., Rosa Lam and her husband, Philip in Walnut Creek Ca.; grandchildren, Derek Yu and his wife, Erin, Wayne Wong and his wife, Allison, Jeff Wong and his wife, Anita, Deborah Chan, Chris, Chan, Justin Yu, Morgan Yu, Jonathan Lam, and Joanna Lam; great-grandchildren, Michelle Wong, Samantha Wong, Katelyn Wong, and Alyssa Wong.

Choi Mee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, and she will truly be missed.

Funeral Services for Choi Mee are scheduled for Sunday, February 23, 2020 starting 10:00 am at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery in Scottsdale, Arizona.
