Carolyn will be remembered for her beautiful smile that would light up a room and her infectious laugh that would make your day brighter. A well-versed lady, her love for art, music and reading shined through in every conversation you had with her. She loved to spend time in the outdoors, specifically sailing and kayaking with her husband, Rich. Carolyn will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Evangeline Kaui Hartley. She is survived by her husband, Richard Collins; father, Clinton “Mitch” Hartley and his wife Aileene Hartley; sister, Cheryl A. Hartley and her husband Mike Grasell; sister, Crystal G. Hartley; nephews, Justin, Robby and Liam; nieces, Jessica, Abby, Micheala, Kentlee and Collins; Aunt Nancy and Uncle Jerry Emmons; Aunt Carolyn Hartley; Aunt Gloria Perez; countless loving relatives from the Hartley, Emmons, Pangelinan, Perez, Collins, and Rungo families; and her many amazing friends and colleagues.
The Collins family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn’s honor to the Phoenix Art Museum’s Children's Education Program.
