Nancy E. Adams

Nancy E. Adams, age 68, of Scottsbluff, NE, passed away Sunday, Nov 6, 2011, at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland CO. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Scottsbluff, NE, with Brad Gustafson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in honor of Nancy Adams to the American Heart Association or Habitat for Humanity. Nancy was born July 5, 1943, at Jetmoor, KS, to Paul Fehrenbach and Esther Kellogg. She attended Fort Hays State College and graduated with a BA in Nursing. She married her husband Gary F. Adams on December 28th, 1963. To this union were born two sons, Shaun P. and Brad F. Nancy and Gary have made their home for the past 24 years in Scottsbluff. Nancy loved reading and knitting and actively attended the First Presbyterian Church. She and Gary traveled often and enjoyed visiting their grandchildren and the different regions of the country. She was a member of PEO Chapter HN, and volunteered for several organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Stepping Out for Women’s Heart Health and Soup Supper. Preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Gerry Young. Survivors include her husband, Gary Adams, son Shaun Adams and wife, Susan, son Brad Adams, and wife, Candis, and four grandchildren: Spencer Adams, Seth Adams, Reed Adams and Chloe Adams. Nancy will be greatly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
