Harry resided at Western Nebraska Veterans Home in Scottsbluff. He was born in Wilmington, NC to Robert and Lillian Jordan. He raised in Alexandria, VA and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1962 and was honorably discharged July 1967, but remained in the Naval Reserves.
He worked for Vosbeck Architects in Alexandria, VA 1965-1967. Harry married Linda Anderson of Albion, NE on July 9, 1967, later divorced.

He taught at Creighton Prep, Omaha for 34 years, retiring in 2010 to Albion. He belonged to Albion VFW Post 736.
He loved his students.
Memories of building electric cars, hovercraft, canoe trips, sailing at Gavins Point Dam with friends and students will live forever. They were like family to him.
He loved family visit at Myrtle Beach, SC, New Bern, NC, sister Davie, Florida. He enjoyed hiking Rocky Mtns., Scottsbluff National Monument biking Katy Trail across Missouri.
Survived by his ex-wife Linda Jordan; sisters Susan (Donny Gray), Margaret (Ken Potter) and Katherine Moore; stepbrother John (Linda Henderson); 5 nieces, 4 nephews, 1 great niece and 3 great nephews. Jupiter favorite dog, still barking.
Preceded in death, his parents, sister Caroline Jordan, brother Robert Jordan and Gypsy, cat 18yrs, (October 1, 2024).
