Geoffrey Evert

Geoffrey Evert, 21, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, formerly of Gering, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018. Geoffrey was born December 10, 1996, at Fort Morgan, Colorado to Laurie Boots and graduated from Gering High School in 2015.

Geoffrey is described by friends and family as kind-hearted and hard-working with a witty sense of humor that made people smile. He was passionate about helping others, repairing vehicles, especially Jeeps, and the outdoors. He dreamed of traveling the world with his wife, Sarah. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Evert, mother Laurie Boots, sister Phoebe Boots, brother Axel Evert, grandparents Bob and Marsha Boots, and niece Mixie; Sarah’s family: Dallas Powell (father) and wife Jen, Kimberly Dolberg (mother) and husband Nathan; sisters Hannah Ball and husband Dakota, Faith Powell, step brother Austin Dolberg, and step sisters Chelsie, Kayleigh, and Deillya; grandparents Robert Powell and Bryan and Shirley Ruberson. Along with dear friends Zane Richards; mentors Irene and Paul North and the Gonzales family - Oscar, Mary, Ashley, Priscilla.

He was preceded in death by friend Joe Gonzales.

A private family service will be held in Cheyenne, Wyoming with no public viewing.

There will be a memorial service on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Mitchell Berean Church, officiated by Pastor Giles Armstrong. Wiederspahn-Radslag Funeral Home of Cheyenne will be providing the cremation services.
