Robyn C. Bell of Scituate, MA, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023, with her family by her side. She was the loving daughter of Thomas J. Bell and Clarissa M. (Shea) Bell, both of Scituate. A devoted sister, she leaves behind Brooke Cheney of Needham, Leigh Anne (Zachary) Piccolomini of Hingham, Ashley Bell (Pasquale Napolitano) of S. Weymouth and Heather (Philippe) Mortelette of Cape Coral, FL. Robyn was the granddaughter of Thomas G. Bell and was predeceased by Patricia (Keyes) Bell and Donald and Corinne (Boudreau) Shea, all of Scituate. One of Robyn's greatest roles in life was being an aunt and will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Mila, Fiona, Thomas, Eloise and Carter. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.
Robyn graduated from Scituate High School in 2006 and went on to study nursing at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire. She was a passionate nurse, working at Mass General Hospital for many years. Robyn loved the outdoors and being on the ocean, making countless trips to the Florida Keys with her family. She was also extremely creative, always starting a new project or hobby. Robyn recently taught herself how to knit, making chunky knit blankets and stuffed animals for her family and friends. She had a big personality but an even bigger heart, always going above and beyond to make people feel loved.
Robyn was an animal lover and a dedicated mother to her Boston Terrier, Izzy, who will miss her terribly. In her spare time, she volunteered at an animal rescue facility in Boston where she walked dogs as often as she could.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday September 8, 2023 at 10am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Scituate Animal Shelter of Massachusetts or Mass General Hospital Cancer Center.
