Phyllis Sullivan

Born in Boston on August 4, 1929 to Dominic and Theresa Rizzo. Phyllis worked over 25 years for the New England Telephone Company where she had many close friends. She loved the Red Sox and was a wonderful cook. She loved taking long walks to the harbor, but most of all, she loved God and her family.

Phyllis is survived by her beloved daughters; Theresa “Terry” Gulinello and husband Michael of Scituate, and Diana Matson and husband David, cherished grandchildren Annemarie, Michael and Lauren, adored great grandchildren Melissa and Christopher, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her beloved husband Robert of 37 years, she was preceded in death by her brother Anthony Rizzo of Braintree, Richard Rizzo of Randolph and sister Emilia Anderson of Abington.

She will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to a morning visitation January 9, 2024 at Richardson Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd. Scituate, starting at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St. Scituate, followed by a private burial.
