Pauline R Walsh

Pauline R. (Roche) Walsh of Hingham (formerly of her beloved Scituate), 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 23, 2021. Pauline was born in Marblehead while her father was away serving in WWII, meeting him for the 1st time when she was 4.

She was a graduate of Girls Catholic High School Class of 1960 and Boston College Class of 1966 where she met her husband of 42 years Joseph F. Walsh (2009). Mrs. Walsh worked as a Special Needs Teacher in Burlington and Bedford, MA for most of her early career and then later at The Town of Scituate in the Engineering / DPW Dept.

Her children and their families were her proudest achievement. She is survived by her 4 loving children: Christine R. Walsh Mohr and her husband David G. Mohr, Jr. of Scituate, Michael J. Walsh and his wife Elizabeth M. Walsh of Melrose, Matthew P. Walsh and his wife Danielle M. Walsh of Mansfield and Steven J. Walsh and his fiancée Lisa M. Boudreau of Tamworth, NH as well as her 9 cherished grandchildren and other extended family members.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate on Monday November 29th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to South Shore Peer Recovery, 51 Cole Parkway, Scituate, MA 02066.
