Laurie is preceded in death by her father John Smith, sister Linda Bonomi, and brother Dana Smith.
She is survived by son Mike Smith, his wife Andrea, and daughter Dawn Smith. Daughter of Gretchen Turner Thibeault, sister of Jay Smith, wife Kathy, and Deborah (Smith) Giallongo, and niece to Bill and Jill Smith. She will be remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Laurie was a kind and caring soul who loved to have fun and laugh. The type of person to give you a hard time with her sense of humor just to make you laugh.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday May 19th, from 4pm-7pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road Scituate, Massachusetts 02066-3313.
