John Francis Solari

SOLARI, John Francis- Age 60, of Norwich CT and formerly of Brighton and Scituate MA, passed away February 26, 2023. Beloved son of Elizabeth (DiAnni) and the late James Solari. He will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life, Janice Cipriano.

Cherished brother of Judy Solari, her husband John Fallon, Marybeth Monsini, her late husband Raymond, Stephen Solari, his wife Karen, Michael Solari, his wife Maureen and Margaret McCarthy, her husband Glen.

Loving uncle to Chelsea, Andrea, Natalie, Nicole, Jillian, Stephen, James, his fiancé Sarah, Rachel, Maxwell, his wife Jocelyn and Robert and great uncle to Daisy.

A skilled contractor and owner of JFS Construction, John’s craftsmanship was sought after by many clients in Scituate and Connecticut and his work had been published in trade magazines. If you ever worked for John you knew he was a perfectionist and you were probably fired, at least once. John was known for his practical jokes and no one was immune to being a target, but he was more known for the love and compassion he had for others. John had a love for the ocean and would spend his free time fishing and boating with family and friends.

He will be dearly missed by his many family and friends in Scituate and Connecticut.

A visitation will take place on Friday April 14, 2023 from 4pm-8pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 15, 2023 at 9 am from St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St, Scituate.
