Hartnett-Anne M. (Sears) of Scituate passed on March 27th, 2011 at Life Care Center, Scituate age 98. Wife of the late Francis W. Hartnett. Anne was born and raised in E. Dedham where she had worked as a ship welder for the Boston Naval Shipyard. While married to her career Army Sergeant husband Francis, they were posted in Germany and travelled extensively during her 3 year stay there. Anne moved to Scituate in 1953 and was a waitress at Hugo’s Lighthouse, Cohasset for many years. Anne loved the beach, music, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Loving mother of William F. and his wife Ellie of Cincinnati, OH, Elmer R. and his wife Hope of Scituate, and Francis J. and his wife Gail of Marshfield. Sister of Lorraine Enos of FL. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours on Thursday, March 31 from 4-8PM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham on Friday at 10:30 AM followed by burial in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
