Ann Marie Sweeney

Much beloved mother of Sean Westmoreland of Scituate and New York City. Caring daughter of the late Margaret (Donovan) Sweeney and James Sweeney of Charlestown. Dear sister to Steve Sweeney of Quincy, Jim Sweeney and his wife Christina DeConcini of Bethesda, Maryland, and her late sisters Carol Lefebvre and Margaret “Peggy” Battista. Also lovingly survived by her brothers-in-law, Edgar “Spike” Lefebvre of Plymouth and Gerald “Jay” Battista of Revere. “Auntie Ann Marie” is also survived by many faithful nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. Ann Marie was born and raised in Charlestown and, as her many dear friends know, remained a joyously proud Townie throughout her life. She was an alumna of UMass-Boston and a retired caseworker with the Massachusetts Department of Social Services, where she dedicated many years of service to children and families.
