Ralph Richard Kleinfelter

Ralph R. Kleinfelter, 87, of Schaefferstown, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2023. Ralph was born on April 8, 1936, in Schaefferstown, PA, to the late Henry V. Kleinfelter and Vernetta Moyer Kleinfelter.

He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Janet; brother Henry and wife Anna; sister Frances and husband Eric Reinhart; brother David; and brother-in-law Frederick Dulabohn. He is survived by daughter Patricia Putprush and husband John of Apex, NC, daughter Stephanie of Lancaster, daughter Lynn Brown and husband Chris of Lebanon, son Justin and wife Christine of Lititz, along with four grandchildren, one great-grand-child; two siblings: sister Virigina Dulabohn of Schaefferstown & Debra, wife of Steve Wier of Lititz; and sister-in-law Lisa wife of the late David Kleinfelter of Kentucky.

Ralph was a graduate of the Hershey Vocational School. He served as an MP in the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania, was a 47-year member of Williamson Masonic Lodge, a member of the Rajah Shriners, a member of Lebanon Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was a quintessential entrepreneur, having interests in contracting/excavating, equipment, and real estate sales. He developed Prospect Hills in Schaefferstown, was the owner/operator of Kleinfelter Builders, Inc., co-owner/operator of Schaefferstown Equipment Co., and B Bar J Rodeo Co. Ralph’s hobbies included Appaloosa horses, Bluegrass music, and anything Western. He has been a resident of Stoneridge Towne Center for the past 4 years.

A private family life celebration is planned for a later date.
