Dylan B Layser

Dylan Bruce Layser, owner of Double D Construction Inc., passed away on October 26th, 2022, in Reading Hospital at the age of 43. Dylan was born in Newmanstown, PA to Victoria Layser Bricker the late Joseph B Layser on January 30th, 1979. Dylan was an Eastern Lebanon County High School graduate. After graduation he became self-employed at age 20 by starting his excavation company in 1999. Throughout the years he built a beautiful house and cabin where he spent time with family and friends. Dylan enjoyed fixing/building things, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, shooting clay birds, tubing down the Pine Creek, and enjoying the company of his good friends and family around a campfire. He spent much of his last days sharing his knowledge of excavation and mechanics with his son and teaching his daughter great life lessons. Dylan will be remembered for always being one of those people who would go out of his way to do anything for anyone. Dylan is survived by his children; Elainna A Layser and Drayson D Layser, Brothers; Dane J Layser and Dustin L Layser, Parents; Victoria and Dale Bricker, and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many, but this memory will live on. Funeral services will be held on November 3rd, 2022, at Rohland Funeral Home Inc. in Lebanon, PA. The viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and service will start promptly at 12:00 PM. Officiated by Dennis Scalese of Ephrata Community Church.
