It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Sheila. She passed peacefully in her home on April 19, 2024 in her 94th year.
She lived a full life, filled with family and friends. She arrived in Canada with her husband , young son and siblings October 1952. Which made Thanksgiving a very special occasion throughout the years. She worked at F. W. Woolworth the neighborhood store with friends for over 25 years. Sheila was a strong , resilient woman who took great care of her parents and family. She had a great talent for knitting and crochet. She was known for her blankets and dolls that she made for the church bazaar to sell to raise funds for the church over a span of many years.
Sheila was the end of a Era. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, her parents John and Catherine. Brothers Jack, Jimmy, Frank and Bernie and sister Kathleen .Sheila had 3 children, Edward, Linda (Alan) and Monica. She is survived by her grandchildren, Clinton (Antoinette) Alannah ( Ryan) great grandchildren Delilah, Arabelle, Olivia and Pierce, cherished nieces and nephews and their families.
At the family's request private arrangements have been made. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Breast Cancer foundation would be appreciated.
