Louis Francis Luciani

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father Lou at Scarborough General Hospital on March 26, 2024, in his 98th year.

Loving husband of the late Georgie Luciani, dear father of Lisa and David, Leslie and Pat, Linda, Rocky and Donna. Devoted Papa to Matthew and Amber, Thomas, Samantha, the late Cori, James and Shelby, Richard and Hannah, and cherished Big Papa to Emery, Joe, Myla and Toby. Generous to a fault, he loved his family with all of his heart.

Growing up on Bellwoods Avenue in Toronto’s Little Italy, Lou was the treasured oldest child of Francesco Luciani and Luisa Di Cecco, and was the adored older brother to Nicke, Mary and Roy, Connie and Vince and Angie and Angelo, and the beloved brother-in-law to Frances and Alan. He was a fan of Beefy’s Kibby Joint.

Lou will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and dear friend Margaret.

Special thanks to Lou’s caring physician Dr. Randhawa and to Elsa and Malcolm at the Palliative Care Ward at Scarborough General Hospital for their kindness and compassion.

Memorial service to be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Holy Wisdom, 776 Brimley Road Scarborough (just south of Lawrence Avenue). Reception to follow at in the Party Room at 8 Mondeo Drive, Scarborough, at Birchmount Road and Ellesmere Road.

Cremation has already taken place.
