Passed away peacefully at Matthew House Hospice surrounded by loving family. Donald (Skip) Jackson, in his 90th year, was beloved husband of the late Madge (nee McIlravey). Devoted father of Debbie (Rob) Hamilton, Norman Jackson (deceased) and Don (Colleen) Jackson. Proud Grandfather of Megan, Erin (JJ) and Dylan.
Retired fire fighter with the City of Toronto, Don enjoyed his retirement puttering around his farm in Beaverton and spending winters in Florida.
The family would like to thank all of the staff and volunteers at Matthew House for welcoming Dad and the family into their arms and providing such heartfelt care on Dad’s final journey.
At Don’s request, there will be no funeral. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
Memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice in Alliston would be greatly appreciated by the family.
