It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Bruce Couch on Monday April 11, 2021 at the age of 92. He is now with his wife Mary. Survived by daughter Dawn Chryssanthis (George), son Bruce (Joel), daughter-in-law Andrea (Barry), grandson Alex (Jenn) and great-granddaughter Violet. He was a member of the East York Lyndhursts hockey team, and played on Team Canada in 1953. He was a dedicated Toronto firefighter, avid golfer and all-around sports guy. He loved winters in Florida with Mary, being with family and friends, and licorice pipes. We will miss him, and he will be in our hearts and thoughts. We would like to sincerely thank all those who cared for dad over the last few years - your care and compassion allowed him to live at home, something he dearly wanted.
Donations may be made to COPD Canada. Due to current Covid restrictions at his condo, there will not be a memorial for him until the summer. We will send an announcement closer to the date.
