Mrs. Beverly Gale Floyd Reynolds

She was born in Savannah, Ga., and was preceded in death by a son, William David Reynolds, and her parents, Marvin Floyd and Hilda Sheppard Floyd.

She was a graduate of Commercial High School, and was retired from Sears, after 25 years of service, as a Sales Associate.

She was a former member of Pierce Memorial Methodist Church, Robert McIntire Methodist Church, Ardsley Park Baptist Church, Cresthill Baptist Church, and The Sycamore Church. Both Beverly and her husband were instrumental in helping to start The Sycamore Church. She supported Missions and Missionaries, and taught little children in Sunday School, and helped with VBS.

Beverly was a great care giver to everyone, all of her life. They were married for 60 years.

She is survived by her husband, Delmar C. Reynolds, of Savannah, Ga; 2 sons, C. Victor Reynolds (Leann), and Rev. Michael D. “Dusty” Reynolds (Audrey) both of Savannah, Ga; sister, Gloria Smythers (Miles) of Roanoke, Virginia; brother, Marvin B. Floyd (Cathy) of Miami, Fla; 4 grandchildren, Rachel Reynolds, Brandon Reynolds, Logan Reynolds, and Megan Caulder (Craig).

Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at The Sycamore Church, 1914 E. 52nd Street, Savannah, Ga 31405.

Funeral Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at The Sycamore Church, with Dr. Michael D. Reynolds, and Rev. Dane Moore, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
