STEVENS-HODGSON – Sway Shirlene Toni (Cubby) Zoonggii Ode KWEZEHN – Passed away at the age of 15 months at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario with her mom and cousins by her side. Sway was born with a heart condition called Long QT Syndrome type unknown, and was also diagnosed with Down Syndrome days later. She had an operation November 24, 2014 and had a pacemaker put in and had visits to Sick Kids in Toronto for her check ups. Even though Sway was challenged with her conditions, she loved listening to music on a daily basis and being sung to. Sway enjoyed watching video’s with her dad every day. Her brothers and sisters would play with her and enjoyed her company. Dakota was a big part of her life. Sway was a very happy baby who smiled every day. Loving daughter of Shirley Stevens and John Hodgson. Loving sister to Chi-Nodin (Dakota), John “Pie”, Gage, Chassity, Hannah, Syncere “Mayme” and Delia. Special granddaughter of Howard “Butch” Stevens, Darlene Gingras, Barbara and John Reedy, Mary-Grace Takwadjiwan, Irene Stevens (late Howard Stevens), predeceased by Lavina “Bena” Lewis and John Otokwadjiwan. Special niece to Charlene Boyer, Bobbie-Jean Otokwadjiwan, Kelly Hodgson, Jason Collins, Ping Stevens and Cecelia Marshall of Toronto. Special cousin to Shaelynn Hodgson, Cassandra, Rachel Anthony and Clayton Marshall of Toronto. Sway will be missed by many aunties, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to Char Boyer, Brendon Hooey, Andre Gagan, Jay and Stephan Monette, Brock Lewis, Josh Lewis, Gabriella V.F., Howard Stevens, Nancy Armstrong, Thecla Turco, Frieda Lewis and Mable Hill, Mike Hodgson and the fire keepers for their love and support. Friends and community members are invited to Sway’s home, 462 Frontenac Street for a sharing time from Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 6 pm until Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 2 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in honour of Sway.
