Mary Lou Harris

HARRIS, Mary Lou (Danz) - Mary Lou was reunited with her loving husband Paul as she returned to her heavenly home on December 12, 2015. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Her life reflected her faith. Mary Lou was born to her parents, June Frech Danz Jaworski and her father Tom Danz on September 17, 1942. She was a best friend, wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and those who loved her cannot imagine the world without her. She will be missed by many, including her children Tom Harris (Joey), Paul Harris (Kerry) and Peg Morgan (Guy) and her grandchildren whom she loved and cherished Mitchell, Ross, Gracey and Matthew. She had a bond like no other with her sisters and brother and will be greatly missed by Jody Danz, Nancy Tadashore (Arthur), Barb Officer (Bill), Tom Danz (Gwen) and Laurie Errington. Her final days were a gift to her closest family. Her smile, laugh, and sunshiny soul have touched the lives of everybody she has encountered throughout her years. She gave us her absolute best in what will be her legacy. Her faith and strength continues to shine down upon us, and we would be honoured if you are able to celebrate her life with us on Tuesday December 15, 2015 at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre from 3 until 5 pm & 6 until 8 pm. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2015 at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church (26 Carmel Rd.) at 2 pm. Rev. Pat Woods officiating. Our family cannot express enough gratitude to the entire staff of the Sault Area Hospital for the care mom received throughout her years of treatment and final days.
