JONES, Janet (Wightman) – Passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 63. Wife of 30 years to Jack. Loving mother of Jana (Brian) and special Mummu to Cian. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Irma Wightman. Precious sister of Lois, Jim (Lynda) and Doug (Luci) and sister-in-law of Jennifer (Lou). Wonderful aunt of Sarah, Elizabeth, Anna (Joel), David (Vanessa), Ann (Mike), Emily, Martin, Coralee (Shane) and Jason (Senicia). Beloved friend and teacher of many. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Willowgrove United Church on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 3 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial contributions to the organizations which brought so much joy to Janet’s life, Willowgrove United Church or the Algoma Festival Choir, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
