RIX, Eileen (Tuckett) - (January 30, 1930 - May 25, 2018) - With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Eileen at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, May 25, 2018, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Brian (1990). Loving Mother of Doug (Jane), Donelda Reid (Randy) and Allen "Beaver" (Lori). Proud Grandmother of Justin Reid and Meghan Majic (Adam). Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Margaret and her brothers and sisters, Lewis (late Rita), Bill (late Jessie), Allen (Marie), Helen, Walter (late Ruby), Doug, Margaret and Reg (late Simone). Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Eileen will be sadly missed by her family, friends and 2 furry puppies, little sweetheart Oakley and the old lady Berkley. Eileen will be remembered for her love of music, playing the piano for dances since the age of 12, chording for fiddle contests, organist for church services at Knox Presbyterian Church and Bar River United Church and the accordion for other special occasions. Special thanks to the staff at the FJ Davey Home Apple Orchard 1 and Fiorella, Naomi, Amanda and CCRT at the Sault Area Hospital. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel, 492 Wellington St. East on Thursday May 31, 2018 from 6pm - 8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00 am. Chaplin Mary-Alice Policicchio officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery at 1:30 and all are invited to attend.
