HANNAH, Dorothy - The family of Dorothy Hannah announces with heartfelt sorrow, the passing of our beloved mother. Predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd Hannah (1980). Cherished mother of Joan Buconjic (Nick), Peggy Lortie (late Gerry), and the late Royanne Mitchell (late Alex). Proud grandmother of Neal Buconjic, Nevin Buconjic (Kristy), Kerry Roy (Mike), Curtis Oliver (Cherie), Jason Oliver, Carly Love (Wyland), and Kevin Mitchell (Jessica). Loving great grandmother to Mikayla Buconjic (Jordan), Hannah Buconjic, Kaden & Kylan Roy, Jordan & Caleb Oliver, Ryan Oliver, Markus Love and Megan & Emma Mitchell, who all brought her such joy. Predeceased by her parents, Roy and Grace O’Brien and sisters Helen Flannery (late Leroy) and Joan Marie O’Brien. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews including Emily (Cookie) Fisher. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Jim & Betty Hannah and Eunice & Ellwood Hamel. Dorothy will be dearly missed by her many friends and acquaintances including her very dear friend and travelling partner, Jean Lajambe. She was an avid fan of the Sault Greyhounds, the Blue Jays and she loved to play bridge with friends. Dorothy was a dedicated member of the Sault Area Hospital Volunteer Association for over 30 years and a long-time faithful member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church. As per Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Christian Pichette officiating. Interment with Lloyd at Greenwood Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Fera for his wonderful care over the years. Sincere appreciation also to the staff at Extendicare Maple View, Echo Bay Floor for providing Dorothy with a warm, safe home, exceptional care and friendship for the past 14 months. You made her laugh every day and were “the sunshine of her life”. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the SAH Foundation or the St. Luke’s Anglican Church would be appreciated.
