December 28, 1944 – October 4, 2020
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Montgomery Pollock of Saskatoon, SK on October 4, 2020 at the age of 75 years. Ron passed peacefully surrounded by his loving wife Shannon, his son Michael (Robyn), daughter Michelle (Ernie) Steadman and his loving grandchildren Darian and Christian Pollock, Eric and Katelyn Maxin and Tevanio and Mikayla Steadman.
Ron was predeceased by his parents James and Dorothy, his sister Doreen Ozen and his brother Robert Pollock. He is also survived by his sister Deanna Krislock.
Ron worked as a Program Consultant for the Provincial Government from 1972 to 2004. After retirement, Ron worked for the Saskatoon Tribal Council until May 2017, as well as operating his own private training and consulting business until 2018.
Ron enjoyed spending time out on numerous golf courses around Saskatoon and area with close friends and colleagues. He loved cooking meals for family get-togethers, holidays and other activities.
Ron expressed the joy and pride he felt for his adult children and grandchildren, he was so proud of their accomplishments and the caring people they had become.
Ron was a kind, loving person and enjoyed engaging with people of all ages. One of his favorite pastimes was stopping in at Lawson Heights Starbucks for a latte and a visit with his adopted Starbucks family.
