Ronald (Ron) W. Chilliak passed away at home on April 14, 2025. He is survived by his loving sister, Joyce, and her children David and Diane Diemert (Sean Gallagher). Ron was born in Cudworth, Sask, on July 6, 1940. He is predeceased by his father, Mike, and his mother, Michaeline (Mickey), as well as brother-in-law Al Diemert. Ron lived in Prud’homme, Sask, until 1953 when the family moved to Saskatoon where he attended high school at St. Paul’s High School and studied at the University of Saskatchewan. For many years he worked as a respected and much-loved manager of Saskatchewan Liquor stores until his retirement. Ron was kind, generous, a good listener, and had a mischievous sense of humour. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Ivan Nahachewsky at St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral (210 Avenue M South) on Thursday, April 24th at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Center.
