Raymond Joseph Moyer passed away peacefully at Sherbrooke Nursing Home Saturday evening January 6th, 2024. He was a good Dad! He was always a very neat and a very well-dressed man, born and raised in Shaunavon SK. He met Helen Longworth when she was playing a basketball game, SPARKS flew and they were married in Rosetown 1962. Ray went to STI in Moosejaw SK and became a TV and radio repairman and worked at Boushay and Flauks in Rosetown all through the 60s and then moved our family to Saskatoon in 1973 and started working at Hickson and Morgan on 20th street. Dad loved his kids he enjoyed hunting with Uncle Fred fishing, riding horses, skidooing, waterskiing, driving fast cars and socializing. Music was a big thing in our family and Ray loved playing the banjo! He was also a fabulous artist in which he enjoyed participating at the home. Dad was 85 and now kicking it up with his little girl Carolyn and friends on the other side! Dad led a very interesting life and will be sadly MISSED!! Ray was cremated Monday January 15th, 2024. A Celebration of Ray’s Life will be announced at a later date when it’s a lot warmer! So much to say about Dad's life. Rest in Peace Ray Love Helen, Ed, Gord, Carolyn, Dennis! Arrangements entrusted to Aime Laventure.
