March 22, 2014 – January 27, 2022
Levi Christopher Joseph Wagner dazzled and delighted this world, from his arrival on March 22, 2014 to his journey to the next, on January 27, 2022.
Our Super Baby, Munchkin, Tornado in a Jar and Little Scholar especially loved the color pink, painting his nails with his Mom, Star Wars, "Hauntie" (Auntie) Taylor's tacos, and math. Always bouncing with energy and ready for an adventure by scooter, making play-doh with Nana, going up on the roof with Grandpa or learning about military history and building Lego, Levi could have mature conversations yet still delight in a game of hide and seek. His big brown eyes sparkled with mischief, humor and a special gift for understanding his G’ma's sarcastic wit. We cherish his exuberance for so much: the trains at the "Double D M" (aka the WDM), eating "minitoes" (aka tomatoes) from the garden, and learning to drive up at G'ma and Grandpa's "lake house" (aka cabin).
Levi was an easy little soul to love. He was fearless and fast yet also loved quiet craft time and bedtime stories, as long as Nunu was close. He loved riding his bike and gaming with Uncle Kirk.
Levi was a proud and considerate big brother and adored Jaxon and Cameron. A true animal lover and little farm boy, he cared for his kitties and dog and spent time in the barn with the goats, feeding the baby kids and gathering eggs from under squeaky chickens at Papa and Nana’s farm.
Levi's kind and curious appreciation for the world meant the rest of us shared some of his little boy's wonder at understanding how things worked. We'll try hard to celebrate his joyful existence by continuing to notice the things that made him laugh and smile and by celebrating the miracle of having seven years together.
Levi will be missed by everyone who had the joy of knowing him. He is especially beloved by his mom, Alexa Jantzen and her partner, Whitney Mackay, his dad, Christopher MacDonald-Wagner and bonus mom, Taylor Takahashi, and his brothers Jaxon and Cameron. Loving him forever and always, are his Grandma and Grandpa, Christine and Glenn Michalishen, his Papa and Nana, Garry and Sherri Wagner, his Grandparents, Brian Jantzen and Paulette Perrin, and Ken and Katie Takahashi, along with his Great Granddad and Great Grandma, Wayne and Eileen Carlson and Great Grandparents, Walter and Esther Jantzen. Levi was a special nephew to Karen Carlson, Jolene (Devin) Funk, Melissa (Dan) MacDonald, Kayla (Ranga) Prasad, Travis, Kirklen, Mitchell and Kylee Wagner.
To celebrate our Levi, please take time to play in a park, cuddle a cat, build Lego, skip down a hallway, and look up at the sky and wonder which shining star is his sparkling soul. And mostly, say “I love you” to someone. Levi heard that every day, and we will keep saying it.
A celebration of Levi’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 11am from Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Chapel at 915 Acadia Drive in Saskatoon.
