It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Allan Markowski. Jim passed away suddenly at the family farm on this 69th birthday. Jim was born in Meacham on the 4th wedding anniversary of his parents Michael J. and Alice Markowski. Jim met and married Linda Bauman in 1976 and together they farmed near Colonsay until his death. Together they had 3 children; Jaime (David), Tara and Ryan, all of Saskatoon. Jim was predeceased by his parents Mike (1988) and Alice (2014) along with sister, Audrey (2014). Jim took great pleasure in building and restoring and the farm is a showcase of all his work. Jim had a love of classic cars (particularly his '57 Fairlane), planting trees, the Riders and his ever loyal dogs. Jim was a loving father and will be truly missed, but always in our hearts. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Jim on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00AM from Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK).
