Mrs. Gloria Woytowich

Gloria Woytowich passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on April 5th, 2024. Raised on the family farm near Laniwci, SK, Gloria's early days were filled with the warmth of a fun and loving family. Gloria built a life filled with love and service alongside her husband, Steve. Her commitment to serving others was evident in her countless hours of volunteering at St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral and a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Womens League. Gloria loved to sing and was a dedicated member of the church choir for many years. She was a pillar of support for her family and a friend to many. Family gatherings were a cherished tradition in the Woytowich house, where Gloria passed down her rich Ukrainian heritage through delicious meals and traditional celebrations.

Gloria is reunited in heaven with her husband Steve and welcomed by her daughter Delvine Woytowich (Zaparaniuk) and daughter-in-law Kathy Woytowich. She is predeceased by her parents Aneila and Michael Dziadyk; brothers Albin and Walter (Elizabeth) Dziadyk; brothers and sisters in-law Bill and Michael (Emily) Woytowich, Mary (Andrew) Owchar, Anne (Roman) Lukan, Elsie (Nick) Pasowesty, Terry Hryciuk, Steve Huchkowsky; and all her friends and family who went before her.

As grateful as we are that she is now at peace, she will be dearly missed by those who loved her: her son Ken Woytowich; grandchildren Cheryl (Todd) Sander, Blaine (Jordan ) Zaparaniuk, David (Melina) Woytowich, Janelle (Michael) Bubnick, Gregg (Maggie) Woytowich, Kaylee (Graham) Patola and her ten beautiful great grandchildren; her siblings Julian (Ann) Dziadyk, Sally Huchkowsky; sisters-in-law Sally Dziadyk and Rose Hryciuk; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. We would like to thank the Sisters and their staff at St Joseph's home for the many years of loving care on her final journey home.

Liturgy of the Word will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday April 20th, 2024, at St Georges Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral (214 Ave M South) Celebrated by Fr. Ivan Nahachewsky. Arrangements are in care of Mandi Wasylkowski – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
