Edward Morris Zook

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Edward Zook. Edward passed away at home with his family by his side. Edward will be sadly missed by his wife Adeline of 60+ years; daughter Gwen (Jeff Hinz) Isfeld and her daughters Ashlee (Curtis) Babiy, Jaimee (Justin) Schindel and Karlee Isfeld; son Scott (Tina) Zook and daughter Jessica; daughter Sherry (Mark) Pentlichuk and children Matthew and Madison; as well as his four great-grandchildren Brighton, Harper, Ellie and Leo. He is lovingly remembered by his sisters Olga Meszaros and Rose (Ben) Friske; sister-in-laws Sophie Zook and Frances Zook along with brother-in-law Albert Kuyath as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Edward was predeceased by his parents Nick and Jessie; siblings Katie (Joe) Lucyshyn, Tina (Bill) Komarnicki, Peter (Michelina), Bill, Anne (John) Lynchuk, Marie Kuyath, John (Virginia), Elmer, Joanna and brother-in-law Bert Meszaros.

Dad loved spending time with family, playing cards and cribbage, gardening, golfing and curling. Dad loved going to the lake and picking berries or just driving the golf cart with the grandchildren. From day-camping at Muchka Lake to the trailer in Wakaw, being outdoors with friends and family made him happy. Dad was able to build a successful business based on his desire to meet the needs of his customers, retiring in 1998. Dad loved telling stories, jokes, poking fun, playing the accordion and being the life of the party.

He will be sadly missed by those whose lives he touched. There will be a Celebration of Life at The Cathedral of The Holy Family in Saskatoon (123 Nelson Road) on Wednesday September 21, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
