David Riehl

We the family of David Riehl sadly announce his passing at his home on the morning of June 24, 2019 after a lengthy battle with COPD. He was born on August 7, 1941 to John and Elizabeth Riehl in Allan, SK. He attended school and spent his working life farming in the Allan district. David has resided in Saskatoon for the past 25 years. He was predeceased by his wife Louella (nee Blanchette) Riehl, brothers Martin and John and sister, Sr. Ida. David is survived by his five children Sheldon (Keli-Lee), Greg, Quentin, Nicole and Nadine, three grandchildren Siarra, Zachary and Aiden, brothers Joe (Shirley) and Kasper, sisters Marie (Joe) Pighin, Elizabeth (Maurice Polard), Carol (Steven) Leavitt and sister-in-law Anne. Dad volunteered and served on many committees throughout his life such as Allan Town and Council, Allan Knights of Columbus, Co-op Board and Saskalone. Dad loved playing cards, Sudoku and gardening.
