Carmen Humphrey (69) passed away peacefully on October 13, 2022. Carmen was predeceased by her parents Gilbert and Alberte Gareau, sisters: Yvonne (Art Beaubien) and Juliette. Carmen is survived by her husband Scott, children: Michael, Stephan and grandson Daeton McKay, Sisters: Ella (Dale Hazell), Lorea (Ross Tylor), Brothers: Charles and Robert (MaryAnn). Carmen was born in Prince Albert, SK on February 7 1953 and grew up in Bellevue Sk. She worked as a Registered nurse at City and Royal University hospitals on the Surgical, Observation Ward and finally in ICU until her children were born, after which she became a full-time Mom. Carmen had numerous interests such as crocheting (lavettes), cooking, baking, fishing, family gatherings, but her greatest joy and sense of accomplishment and what she considered a gift was her Healing Ministry which took her to England, France, Ireland, all over Canada and the US. Her deep religious faith never once waivered and she willingly opened her home to Tuesday Cenacles, countless prayers in person and by phone to hundreds of people. She was smart, focused, kind and especially compassionate. Vigil of Prayer will be held on Thursday October 20, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Denis Phaneuf as celebrant. Both Services will take place at St. Patrick’s Parish (3339 Centennial Drive Saskatoon). Rite of Committal to follow at Padre Pio Cemetery in Bellevue, SK.
