Bernard passed away suddenly at his residence at Primrose Chateau with family by his side at the age of 87. He is survived by his four children; Annette (Troy), David, Michael (Sherry) and Brenda (Michael) and five grandchildren; Hafon (Elizabeth), Mila (Jordan), Marina (Mike), Marek (Dana) and Wei Ling.
Bernard was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife Shirley, mother Clarisse Querry (Boissiere), father Raymond Querry, brother Edward Querry and sister Madeline LeBorgne.
Bernard was a refrigeration and air conditioning technician at the Royal University Hospital for 30 years. He had many hobbies over the years that included fishing, photography, ship building, wood working and stamp collecting. Bernie was a member of many AA chapters in the Saskatoon area for over 50 years. In his later years, he enjoyed going for coffee with his friends and walking at the Shaw Centre. He will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him. He lived his last years at the Villa Royale with his wife, Shirley and most recently at Primrose Chateau.
A Liturgy of the Word will be held at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon) at 11:00 a.m. on October 18, 2022.
