Mr. Austin James Messett Walker

Austin was born on September 25, 1998 in Saskatoon and was taken from us on Saturday June 22, 2024. Auz was predeceased by his Uncle Wendell Walker and his Auntie Adison Messett. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his parents, Tera and Chet Walker, his sister, Madisson Walker (Conner Mascho), niece Ava, nephew Jack and brother, Mason Walker. Auz is also survived by grandparents, Bill and Sandra Messett and Lonnie Walker (Bob Dawson), uncle Wes (Sue) Walker, cousins Chelsea Walker and Cody Walker (Logyn Luciw), Chet Junior (Tyla) Walker, cousin Justin Dupuis, uncle Lee Messett and cousin Tyler Stone (Jolene Mumford).

Austin grew up in Dalmeny and spent his childhood with his brother and sister, playing sports and making lifelong connections with people from an early age. As he grew older, he became a person that everyone wanted to spend time with. He had a sharp wit, and a calming demeanor. He was mature beyond his years and always had time for his friends and family. Auz had a bright future and was taken far too soon. He leaves behind a huge hole in all of the hearts of the people that he touched.

Auz loved the outdoors and, as a lifelong Leafs fan, had lots of time very early in the spring to do the things he loved. His summers were spent with family and friends at lakes all over Saskatchewan. He golfed, fished, played hockey and ball and lived life to its fullest. Even though he was only 25, he was known for his strong work ethic and was on the path to a lucrative career as an inside Sales rep at Wajax.

Auz was a shining light in our lives and a man who was loved by many.

A Memorial Service will be held at Circle Drive Alliance Church (3035 Preston Ave S, Saskatoon) on July 3rd, 2024 at 1:00 PM. The family welcomes attendees to wear their favorite teams’ jerseys to the ceremony.
