Ronald "Ron" Wilds

Ronald (Ron) Wilds, 79, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep on October 7, 2024. Born on August 14, 1945, in Syracuse, New York, he lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed many passions, including golfing and playing cards, and he cherished his retirement after serving for 26 years as the CEO and President of Coastal Chemical & Paper Supply, from which he retired in 2008. He was a dedicated family man, always making time for loved ones and creating lasting memories.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Cindy Wilds; his daughter Tricia Bolds and son-in-law Chris Bolds; his cherished grandson Jake Bolds; his brother Norm Wilds (Sharon Wilds); and sisters-in-law Cathy Curinga (Rocky Curinga), Tania Carter, Mary Carter, and brother-in-law Jeff Carter (Anna Carter). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember him fondly.

A celebration of Ron’s life will take place at his favorite 19th hole, Misty Creek Country Club, located at 8954 Misty Creek Drive, Sarasota, Florida 34241, on November 16, 2024, from 1 PM to 4 PM. Family and friends are welcome to join us for food, stories, and the cherished memories of his life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s memory to a charity of your choice. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
