Pat will be missed by so many who loved her. She was known for her smile, positive attitude, and love of cooking. Many among us will never forget the cakes and pies we vied for before they were gone. Pat was an exceptional photographer, and we will cherish the memories she captured for us. Pat loved all things NASCAR, but it was even better if a Ford won the race.
Pat and Ed were a great pair. She was known to tell others “I am the glass half-full, and he is the glass half-empty, so it works”. Pat was an advocate for agriculture and youth programs such as 4-H and FFA, a member of the Sarasota County Cattlemen’s Association, Farm Bureau, and served on an advisory board for the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Department.
Pat leaves behind her husband Ed Underhill, who she loved dearly; her two children Carrie (Bill) Willis, Asa (Marcia) Horton, grandchildren Samantha and Will Willis, her stepdaughters Diana (Bob) Allen and Dawn (Chip) Woods; grandchildren Robert (Kayla) Allen, Ryan (Mikayla) Allen, Justin (Delanie) Woods, Clayton (Sara) Woods; great-granddaughter Emberley Allen; her extended Kinsey and Underhill families. Pat also leaves behind her siblings, Bob (Luann) Fisher, Bill (Terri) Fisher, Becky Tucker and Lynelle Collins. Not to be forgotten, her two fur-babies, Ricky, and Riley, are going to miss the hours spent in her lap and waiting for the last lick of whipped cream from the bowl.
A Celebration of Life is planned for a future date.
