Mike was born in Palmetto to the late Benjamin and Alice Elliott.
He was a graduate of Palmetto High School and was a life-long avid bowler entering the Bowling Hall of Fame in 2005.
Mike had worked for DeSears Appliances and was now the Warehouse Manager for Ralph's Transfer, Tampa.
Preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Alice Catherine Elliott and step-mother, Evelyn Elliott, Mike is survived by his wife, Amber Heine-Elliott, who he has been with for 30 years; children, Chase Elliott, Michael (Erica) Elliott, Jr., Megan (Cory Schurr) Campbell; his brother, Jeff (Jeannette) Elliott, sister, Mary (Dean) Drumin; and grandchildren, Aubrey Schurr, Sydney Schurr and Maddox Elliott.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home, 170 Honore Ave. Sarasota, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am to service time. Burial in Palms Memorial Park will follow.
Memorial donations in Mike's memory may be made to Sarasota-Manatee Youth Scholarship Fund.
