Linda-Marie Anne Holliday

Linda-Marie Holliday, 67, of Sarasota, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 17, 2023. She was born in Bridgeport, CT and she was the daughter of the late Allan and Claire Marie Stewart.

She was a graduate of Rosemont College in Rosemont, PA and began her career of 17 years with Johnson & Johnson followed by executive management positions at Cott Beverages, Saint-Gobain and Southeastern Guide Dogs. She was an avid volunteer for several organizations over the years, most notably Big Brothers/Big Sisters and over 20 years with Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid Florida. She and her husband Barry shared a passion for Golden Retrievers and adopted several rescued dogs, whom they both cherished more than life itself.

Linda-Marie is survived by her husband of 27 years Barry L. Holliday, her brother Randall Stewart and her nephew Callahan Stewart both of Philadelphia, PA., her stepdaughter Allyson Holliday of Somerville, NJ, and nieces Shannon and Katherine Holliday and nephew Conor Holliday all of upstate New York.

A Celebration of Life service will take place on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church Chelsea Center, 2506 Gulf Gate Dr, Sarasota, FL 34231.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in her honor may be made to Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida (www.GRRMF.org).
