Born in Logan, Ohio, on June 1, 1936, June was the youngest of five sisters. Her baby brother died during infancy. She graduated from Logan High School before attending classes at the White Cross Hospital School of nursing. In September 1956, June married Wally Hall, the love of her life.
June had a long career as a surgical technologist to a plastic surgeon, work that she enjoyed greatly and was very proud of. Retirement did not slow her down. She remained busy by volunteering for a hospice organization, at a local hospital, and then at her beloved church. She was loved by neighbors and friends for her generosity of effort and time, always thinking of others before herself.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace T. Hall, son Douglas D. Hall, brother Theodore Kornmiller, sisters Clara Dunn, Norma Jean Mason, Mary Redd, and Marjorie Wright, and parents Albert and Betty Kornmiller. June is survived by daughter Karen (Jeff) McFarlin, daughter Julie (Ken) Hall Karlock and grandchildren Grace and Samuel Karlock, Granddaughter Stacey (James) Frederick and great grandsons Elijah and Wayde Frederick.
