Gil, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday Morning December 16th 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication. Born in Michigan, Gil's journey through life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family and his community.
After moving to Florida, Gil found his calling as a barber, a profession through which he touched many lives with his skill and warm personality. His barber shop, where he worked, became a cornerstone of the community, a place where stories and age old jokes were shared, and friendships were forged.
Gil was married to his beloved wife, Sue, for an incredible 72 years. Their enduring love and partnership were an inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they raised a son Michael and a daughter Cheryl, instilling in them the values of hard work, kindness, and integrity.
Gil's family continued to grow, and he was blessed with five grandchildren (Lynn, Stephen, Amy, Susanne and Jennifer), twelve great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. His legacy lives on through them, as they carry forward the lessons and love he imparted.
Gil's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his life was well-lived and his memory cherished.
