Dorothy was born October 1, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey to William J. and Dorothy M. Cornetta. She married John J. Raleigh and he survives.
She graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey and later graduated from St. Vincent Nursing School in New York.
Dorothy peacefully passed away leaving behind her husband John J. Raleigh, her children; John J. (Jill) Raleigh Jr., Thomas A. (Katie) Raleigh, William C. (Maureen) Raleigh, Kathryn R. (Brian) Valach and Dorothy 'Beth' (Ryan) Jacobson, and her grandchildren; Lauren Raleigh, Paige Raleigh, Thomas Raleigh Jr., Casey Raleigh, Carson Raleigh, Kaleigh Valach, Anna Valach, Xander Jacobson, Liam Jacobson, Jax Jacobson and her brother William J. (Louise) Cornetta III.
A funeral mass for Dorothy will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2901 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL 34239.
